The famous Joaquin Escamilla is coming to Pacific Dance July 21st to teach two master classes in lyrical contemporary dance. Beginners at 5:30 and more advanced class at 6:30. Fee for class is $15.00.
Joaquin’s credits (to name a few, his list is long) includes dancing with Prince, Ricky Martin, Paula Abdul, and many more, choreographed commercials such as Old Navy and Gap, (and many more) and worked with film and television such as Princess Diaries 2 and Rent. Joaquin is currently on staff with the Urban Jamm convention.

Mermaid Camp…2 different sessions

Explore the world of Merfolk through ecology, biology, history, folklore, as well as training in the art of theater, dance basics, acting and singing. This fun informative camp is open to ages 3-12. All snacks, art materials and costumes provided. Join us on our last day for a presentation for family and friends. Fee $75.00

Pirate Day, 2 different days

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…Join us for a day of treasure hunting, plank walking, sea shanties, dancing jigs, art projects, strength training and more. Snack provided. Pirate camp open to ages 3-12 Fee $25.00

Keiki Camp with Sandy Rodriquez

Learn the dances, food, history, culture of the islands with our own Sandy Rodriquez. Ages 3-12 Fee for the week $75.00

Musical Theater Camp…2 different sessions

Be apart of the magic of theater. Camp will discuss script writing, audition process, training in acting, singing and dancing, stagecraft and prop building, and more. A special play will be presented the last day of camp for family and friends. Snacks and all materials provided, please bring a sack lunch. Available for ages 3 -12. Fee $125.00

Princess Camp…2 different sessions

Hear ye, Hear ye, come one and all to Miss Karen’s original Princess Camp open to children ages 3-12. Learn valuable skills as a different princess visits us every day to teach grace, kindness, beauty, strength, courage, independence and training in acting, dancing and singing. All snack and art materials provided. A special ball held on the last day of camp for family and friends. Fee $75.00

Michele Garman is returning to teach a master hip hop dance class for all ages Wednesday July 22nd, 5:30-6:15. Michele’s credits include…teaching hip hop at the EDGE Performing Arts School and the IDA Dance Studio in Hollywood with renowned teacher/dancer/choreographer Havic, is currently touring with the Urban Jamm convention as well as done work for Will Smith, Rihanna, Young Buck, Nike, MTV and BET, and just finished a job on Nicolodean airing in September and October 2009.  Learn the latest dance moves that you see in all the videos, learn the history and culture of hip hop as well as gain valuable industry information. Fee for the class $10.00, pre-registration recommended.
